This is Rita, a sweet little old lady who takes lots of naps. She was a rescue who has enriched the life of her "mommie" in so many ways. Painting a short haired dog was the challenge -- different from the fur of cats and long haired dogs. Capturing her expression just as she's falling asleep was also fun. Thank you Rita for posing.

ReplyDeleteThank you both. I'm really enjoying this series even more than the magnolias I did in September. Painting small works means I can work intensely but don't have to work for long periods as I would on a large piece.
