This rough, tough little guy greats me at a friend's door with a ferocious non-stop bark until he gets a sniff, then all he wants to do is play and chase around. He's so soft, so funny and so sweet, it's hard to remember that I came to visit his human. Painting all that white fur was the challenge here. I love deciding on a color palette for each of these paintings and working to capture the personality of each individual animal.
