COLLAGE is my newest medium and one
which is both challenging and rewarding.
Collage was first created by early Cubists
like Picasso and Braque when they added it to their
oil paintings.It now enjoys
popularity in all it's many forms -- from
realistic to totally non-representational as a medium of its own.
One of the things that makes it so much
fun is that any kind of material from hand
made or manipulated papers to found
papers and objects can be included in
a collage. Using collage with mixed
media makes the possibilities endless.
