Tupelo and Cypress  Acrylic  20 x 24








Artists often paint unusual subjects because something about them catches our interest.  In both of these paintings it was the shadows that intrigued me, especially the way the shadows connected the various objects to one another.
It was great fun using a large variety of colors to make the blacks, whites and browns.
